DAN EIGEN

ABOUT:

Dan (better known as Walleyedan) grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and fell in love with the lakes area of Brainerd, Minnesota while vacationing with his family during the summers. Fishing has been an Eigen family tradition and Dan knew that one day he would settle in the beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area. Dan made the move north right after high school and this is also where he met his wife. Dan and his wife Shelley live in Lake Shore, MN and have 3 grown children (Alex, Elizabeth and Mac) who they are very proud of.

Dan has been a guide (open water and ice) in the Brainerd Lakes Area for 30 plus years. He and Shelley own and operate Walleyedan’s Guide Service, which has become one of the most well known guide services in the state. Their cast of guides are personable, knowledgeable and have a lot of repeat business! When Dan isn’t on the water, you will probably find him in the woods enjoying some of Gods other creatures (deer, turkey, elk, bear, pheasant and about every other animal and bird).
