More MEGA Live 2 Feature Explained
Sensitivity
Sensitivity controls how much detail is shown on the display. Decrease the sensitivity to eliminate the clutter from the display that is sometimes present in murky or muddy water. When operating in very clear water or greater depths, increase the sensitivity to see weaker returns that may be of interest. *
Contrast
Adjust the Contrast setting to accent the light and dark parts of the MEGA Live 2 Imaging data to provide greater definition. **
Range
Range controls how far the MEGA Live 2 Imaging beams will ping. Select a low range number to focus on a shorter distance and see greater detail on the screen. Select a higher range number to see farther and see an overview of details on the screen. QUICK TIP! You can also change this setting by using the ZOOM In and ZOOM Out keys.
Auto Sensitivity/Contrast
Automatically adjusts both the Sensitivity and Contrast settings of MEGA Live 2 to provide the clearest view of fish and structure. It continuously evaluates water conditions (such as clarity, signal strength, depth, and presence of clutter) and adjusts the sonar's sensitivity to balance detail and noise. It increases sensitivity in clear or deep water to reveal weaker signals and decreases it in murky or shallow water to reduce clutter. It fine-tunes the contrast to balance between strong and weak areas in the sonar image, adapting the brightness and intensity of sonar returns
- Auto Sensitivity and Contrast Offsets allow you to further refine your live sonar returns even further while the MEGA LIVE 2 continuously adapts to water conditions.
- Adjusting Auto Contrast Offset up will clear clutter from the screen while adjusting it down will help see weaker returns.
- Adjusting Auto Sensitivity Offset up will make returns appear stronger while adjusting it down will make them appear weaker.
