Can I remove the PDL Drive for transport?
Yes, the PDL Drive is removable for easy transportation. Simply turn the three locking knobs to the open position and lift the drive out of the hull.
Does it have a warranty?
Yes, every Old Town Sportsman PDL kayak is backed by a limited lifetime hull warranty plus a 5-year warranty on the PDL Drive.
How shallow can I go with the PDL Drive?
The Old Town Sportsman PDL 106 can go in about 6 inches of water when the PDL drive is in the "up" position. When the drive is down and in use, the minimum recommended water depth is 21 inches.
