What Is Needed to Use MEGA 360 on Ice

• MEGA 360 Compatible Humminbird Fish Finder
  • HELIX 8, 9, or 10” G3 or newer with MEGA SI+ or MEGA DI+
  • Browse the HELIX lineup

• MEGA 360 Imaging Unit (Any model)
  • You can remove an existing unit from your boat if you have already purchased one
  • If you do not already own a MEGA 360 transducer, you can purchase any one of the MEGA 360 models. If you do not plan to utilize it on a boat during open water, you can purchase the MEGA 360 Imaging No Mount (transducer only)
  • Other options include MEGA 360 for Ultrex trolling motors, MEGA 360 for Fortrex trolling motors, and MEGA 360 Universal Mount for direct bow mounting.

• MEGA 360 Ice Adapter (Ice Mount)
  • The new MEGA 360 Ice Adapter Conversion kit includes all accessories needed to convert a MEGA 360 Imaging transducer for use while ice fishing.
    • 10'' diameter base and adjustable collar
    • Shaft positioning handle
    • Heading Sensor GPS Puck

• HELIX Ice Conversion Kit
  • Convert your compatible HELIX 8, 9, or 10 fish finder for ice fishing (Step 1) with the included accessories:
  • Portable shuttle with carrying handle and mounting hardware
  • Dual Spectrum CHIRP ice transducer with float
  • SAE Quick-Connect Power Cables for HELIX and MEGA 360 Accessory Transducer
  • This kit does not include a battery and charger to operate the HELIX fish finder (sold separately)

• 12 volt Battery
  • Use your choice of 12v battery and charger

• MEGA 360 / 2D Y-Cable
  • This optional piece allows you to connect and view both MEGA 360 Imaging and the 2D/flasher sonar from the transducer included in the HELIX Ice Conversion Kit listed in Step 4.
  • Do you want to mark fish movements and structure on your MEGA 360 and actively fish them on your 2D or flasher screens? Then you would need a MEGA 360 Y-Cable to quickly drop in the Dual Spectrum CHIRP Ice Transducer and begin fishing.

• Heading Sensor + GPS Puck (Included with Adapter Kit listed above)
  • The AS GPS HS - External GPS Receiver with Heading Sensor has an internal compass that provides constant heading displayed on your Humminbird chart screen, even while sitting still.
  • Why you would want it - This heading sensor provides compass heading and GPS position information so that you can mark and view waypoints on the MEGA 360 Imaging sonar screen, making it easy to find and move to the fish.
